Bonnie Bag - Done

I finished my Bonnie Bag and it looks awesome.  It is so simple yet it comes out very elegant.  (To few previous post on bag click here).

She looks fantastic.  I am very happy with the way she turned out.  I was going to sell her but my mother - in -law loved it, so since mothers day is around the corner, guess that's one present I don't have to worry about. Check out my business card.  Looking good.

I am going to have to make some more of these bags for sale.

Bonnie Bucket Bag by Swoon

The last few days I have been having a go at the Bonnie Bucket Bag Pattern (by swoon)  and  it is turning out nicely.

It is such a good size bag.  Plenty of room.  The colours I have chosen are a dark green suede and a very vintage style Roses with Paris behind it.  It is going to look fantastic when it is complete.

One of the hardest thing about this bag is the fabric I have used.  The suede cant be ironed directly  with a hot iron otherwise it will burn. So all the ironing is doing with baking paper type paper between the iron and the Suede fabric.  This is want works for me.

The only stopping me finishing the bag is that the shops were all closed  and I need a zipper for the top.  So I will continue to be impatient as I wait for Tuesday to come along.

I am thankful that this talent God has given me has raised to the surface.  It really helps to get me relaxed.

Baby Quilt

I have finally finished the baby quilt I was doing for a friend.  I am very happy how it has turned out and most important my friend loves it.  This Winnie the Pooh fabric was just from spotlight so at least I didn't have to travel far.  I even had enough to make a smaller version so there could be one for the car or pram.  Gotta Love Winnie the Pooh.

It was nice to do something different.  I am sure I will be back to making bags in no time.

My First Sale

Today I sold my first NCW the Frangipani one.  I am so excited.  The person who bought this was given one as a gift and now wanted one for a friend.  I am so excited.

I realised I haven't blog for a while and in a nutshell I have been busy,  I have made more NCW.  I so love that pattern and for my birthday I  got the steph in the city bag that  I have been wanting to get forever.

My interpretation of the Steph in the City bag.  It is suppose to have a third ring where the bow but I only had 2 rings that matched so I improvised. It is such a easy bag to make and with the choice of fabrics out there it is quite elegant.

The inside, heaps of room and a zipper pocket.

Then I got introduced to Swoon Bags.   What a variety of bag and with offering some free bags helped to get  me started.  I have only made a couple of 'Ethel' bags.

My daughter claimed this one.  I made one for myself with books ends on.  It is a very classy piece of fabric.

My goodness there are so many talented people around.  It is such a great thing that God created us all different.  He has a awesome imagination.
