The last few days I have been trying out a new (to me) pattern. A weekender bag by Swoon Patterns. Thank goodness for the people on the facebook site because I had a few questions on this one thats for sure.
Another lucky thing about the facebook page is that they have a link for a tutorial. It goes step by step through the instructions.
So heres how it goes.

| One side of the bag. There is a matching slip pocket that might be a little hard to see. |
 |
| The other outside. A zipper pocket that goes behind the black box-like pockets |
 |
| This is the top and the base and on either side there are more pockets. |
 |
| The carry handles. There is also a shoulder strap that needs to be added but would you beleive it, I didnt have the right size hardware for it. |
The end product. Black, red, white, grey ready for a weekend away.
 |
Even the liningh has two pockets. A zipper one and a slot pocket,

This bag has heaps of pockets. And a bag with lots of pockets is a great bag. I love pockets. All up Stella would have taken about 4 days (from cutting the fabric, ironing interfacing, sewing and putting the whole lot together.). It is certainly an interesting bag to make.
