Winter is Here.

Well winter has finally set in here in Victoria and it is really cold......  I am very thankful that my children can get ready for school without me getting out of bed.  I am a bit of a night owl and morning are not my specialty.:) I am also thankful for hubby who makes sure the fire is going for me to stand in front off when I do get up.  lol


A couple of years ago a lovely lady from craft helped teach me to crochet.  It was great to be able to find a lefthander to teach me.  Mum (who is right handed) tried to teach me but It just wasn't working.  It made sense in my brain but my hands couldn't understand what my brain was saying.  umm.

So since it is winter.  time to freshen up on those skills and youtube has become my best teaching buddy.

I am due to have a baby in  September and we happen to have a baby boom going around here and so far all boys. So I am sending out the vibe for more girls. This is a small blanket, I made it to go over the pram or bassinet for extra warmth and decoration.

 I even manged to put a border on it .

But in saying, that boys are good too and this blanket will be sent to one of my nieces for her dolls.

I totally love it yeah its not very square and the tension is out but i still love it.  Its so soft.
